For fall 2025 RC tryouts will be held on August 4th and August 5th.

In order to tryout, YOU MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

• Register on the RC athletic website. Registration will open on July 22nd. Instructions on how to register can be found here on the school athletics website (it's two step process). It is a short turnaround from registrations opening up and tryouts, so please plan ahead with getting your physicals done.
• Upload a current physical, that was completed within the last year and will be current thru the end of the season.
• Pay the school athletic fee of $200.
• Pay the tryout fee on My School Bucks of $100 for both days of tryouts. If the player does not advance to day 2, $50 will be refunded. If you have received a bye to day two, just pay $50 

• Golfers that have demonstrated to the coaches through previous play that they can break 80 will get a bye to the 2^nd day of tryouts to be held at Broken Tee on August 5th, and should just pay the 2^nd day tryout fee of $50. Players receiving a bye will be notified by your coaches. PLAYERS THAT RECEIVE A BYE MUST ATTEND DAY 1 OF TRYOUTS TO HELP WITH SCORING. All other golfers must play Day 1 on August 4th. If you have not completed all four steps listed above you will not be able to tryout out. The school will not make any exceptions, so get your physicals done early, and register early.

  They will be approximately 8-10 golfers that can advance from the Day 1 tryout to Day 2. Tee times for day 2 will be emailed out after day 1 is complete.

  We anticipate over 45 golfers will tryout for golf this fall, and we expect we will have approximately 10 make varsity and another 8 on JV. We are working out if we will have a C team this year for 9th and 10th graders. Golfers that don’t make the cut on a RC team will have the opportunity to continue on a developmental squad to improve their golf skills and move onto the RC team if their play warrants. More details on the developmental squad will go out after the first day of tryouts.

  Last year we had over 55 golfers tryout. If we have more than 45 this year there will be a pre-tryout camp for golfers that coaches are not familiar with (last week of July) so that we can allocate the limited tryout tee times appropriately. 

  Don’t wait until the last minute to register, etc., or you may jeopardize your tryout status. Tee times are limited and we want to give everyone the same opportunity.
