Thank you to all the athletes who tried out for the RC Summer Basketball season. We thought the athletes competed and played very hard. Try outs are not an easy situation for anyone including; the athletes, their families and the coaches. As Coaches, we don’t enjoy making these tough decisions but unfortunately, we have to as we can’t take everyone. Whether or not your son makes a summer team he is still encouraged to register for our summer strength and conditioning and skill sessions which run June 10th through July 31st. Summer Fees Varsity - $275 + Hotel at UNC (Hotel Pricing JV, Sophomore, Freshmen - $250 (per player)
**If your son makes a team for the summer the fees will be due May 15th and checks need to be made payable to The Rock Canyon Boys Basketball Booster Club. You can either send your player fee to Amy Valentine at 2006 Rose Petal Ct. Castle Rock, CO 80109 or bring your check to the first Spring League Game and give it to your Coach.

Summer Youth Camp Register Here - RCHS Youth Boys Basketball Camp RC Basketball Website Parent Meeting Info Dealing with Tryouts https://www.abetterwayathletics.com/managing-the-emotion-of-tryouts/ https://traceup.com/how-to-handle-a-disappointing-tryout-with-your-athlete Thanksgiving and Winter Break We understand family comes first and want families to be together but it is an expectation that players are at every practice over Thanksgiving break and Winter Break. In our program, missed practices equals missed game time. Please understand it is the players responsibility to communicate any missed practice/scrimmages. There will still be consequences even with proper communication. Below you will find our schedule for the two breaks. Thanksgiving Break we will practice everyday except Thanksgiving Day. We also have a scrimmage on Wednesday, November 27 in the morning. Winter Break Varsity and JV will be off December 22-27. Sophomore and Freshmen will be off December 21-27.
